DEAD CHIC, The Franco-English Rock and Roll group debuted in 2022 with their first single «Too Far Gone». Described by Rolling Stone as «a mixture of heavy rock and soul, cinematic and brilliantly orchestrated». Together they have forged a sound which could be described as a dark ceremony within a duke joint, at the foothills of a fuzzy Morricone landscape. The four-piece ensemble compromising of Andy Balcon (Heymoonshaker), Damien Félix (Catfish & Bigger) Mathis Akengin (Emea) & Remi Ferbus (Kimberose & Mika) spared no time in releasing a follow-up live session EP, «The Bastion Session».

DEAD CHIC’s music is raw, sexy and of class. Andy’s voice resounds like an incantation, a sermon during a ceremony with organs and fuzz as witnesses. A banquet at dusk where we come across the ghosts of Leone, Motown divas, Vaqueros, and Mariachis. Damien’s guitars, sips of reverb, weaves the backdrop and brings out the horizon on the plain.
