The Jackets

Just when you thought Garage Rockhad reached its limits, The Jackets have breathed new life into the genre,propelling it into the future with their own blend of '60s influences, punkattitude, and psychedelia. Hailing from Switzerland, this female-fronted triohas gained worldwide recognition for their electrifying live performances,amassing a large and devoted fan base since their formation in 2008.

Led by the charismatic Jackie Brutsche (AKA Jack Torera) on vocalsand guitar, Chris Rosales on drums and Samuel Schmidiger on bass, The Jacketsform a raw and tight-knit three piece whose energetic performances make eachconcert an unforgettable event. But The Jackets are not just musicians. They're multi-dimensionalartists who explore film, theatre, visual art, and storytelling, all of whichfind expression in their artwork, lyrics, and music videos. Their creativepursuits enrich their overall artistic vision, adding depth and complexity totheir captivating sound.

Since 2008, The Jackets have brought their high energy liveperformances to stages throughout Europe playing at some of the most well-knownfestivals in the genre and America where they have toured the East and Westcoast of the USA several times including stops in Canada and Mexico.

The Jackets have released four fulllength albums, three vinyl 7” singles working with several labels like VoodooRhythm Records (Switzerland), Chaputa! Records (Portugal), Soundflat Records(Germany) and have worked with collaborated with musicians and producers likeReverend Beat-Man (The Monsters/Voodoo Rhythm),  King Khan (The Shrines/ KK & BBQ) and JimDiamond (White Stripes/Dirtbombs).  In2021 The Jackets formed their own independent label Wild Noise Records.

In the Fall of 2024 The Jackets willbe releasing their fifth LP with Chaputa! Records (Portugal) and will betouring Japan and the west coast of the USA in October-November.
